TURN - KARTOGRAPHIE EINER BEWEGUNG
21. - 24. April 2022 | Hasenheide Berlin
In the site-specific audio walk TURN - Cartography of a Movement, the audience strolls between the inscribed paths and the desire paths of Berlin's famously infamous park Hasenheide. Continuous and contradictory stories form ever new maps: over 200 years ago the German gymnastics movement was founded in Hasenheide. Boys and men formed not only their own bodies but also the idea of German nationalism. Today, the winding paths and wide meadows at Hasenheide open up space for relaxation, athletic self-optimization, cruising and drugs. As a choreographic audio walk TURN - Cartography of a Movement layers the past and present of the park from a queer and anti-fascist perspective and searches for the possibilities of common disorientation.
